Hi,i'm yinkorea self-taught Nigerian digital artist living and working in Ontario, Canada.
as a person with multiple minority statuses, as a dark-skinned black bisexual woman, I know that stories like mine are rarely told. I navigate my unique lived experiences by exploring themes of intersectionality and representation, using my art as a form of activism and a voice to resist the silence people with my identities were often taught to embrace.
since beginning this journey in 2017, it has been a privilege to see my work exhibited, featured, and collected globally.
& while I am deeply dedicated to my craft, my curiosity doesn’t stop at the canvas.
I also hold a master’s degree with a specialization in Law and Technology. Currently, I’m exploring how these fields intersect with art, culture, and representation in various systemic capacities. I am always open to collaborations that include research, programming, consulting, and interdisciplinary projects.
I’d love to connect. I believe the best solutions - and art - happen when we look at the world through multiple perspectives.
